NC23 Loom

Post by wonderbot » Mon Dec 14, 2009 5:36 pm

Ok I've now got my hands on a nc23 that I'm gonna sort for the track...can't start it at mo as I need to get a new battery, but the former owner said it wasn't revving properly, and from what he explained it sounded like the speed limiter problem. The speedo is missing from the bike which leads me to this conclusion. Anyway I'm gonna lay my hands on a haynes manual asap, but I wondered if anyone had any diagrams for the wiring set up on these. The loom looks intact but some things are missing such as the lights, horn, brake switch's front, and rear. The guy I got it off started sorting it for the track, but gave up after the revving prob so the wiring is not as standard. Any help welcome.

To get around this problem you need to find the restrictor wire at the cdi and run a wire from it to the battery positive using a 2.2k resistor. I don't know the colour of the wire sorry, but the haynes wiring diagram will have it.
