Re: Nc30 rear wheel convertion
Have you looked at the wheels compared to your NC30 wheel?
I mustbe getting a grumpy sod but this is a solid question of "if you have to ask....you don't want to be doing it"
you have a 4.5 inch centre bolted wheel now... you want to stick a 5 inch 4 bolted VFR750 wheel in - OK , cool it works, but you need spacers for the sprockets and a new hub from Rick
You then want to fit a 6 inch centre bolted wheel in (and ruin your handling)...err..no. You could probably give it a good go...if you have the mahcinging skills etc You need another new hub etc etc...and the bike won't work very well..
5.5 can and has been done with Dymag and PVM wheels but clearance is probably tighter than a camel's backside.
does your bike work as well as it could? Has it been dyno'd to make sure it runs as well as possible? Are the bearings and seals all tip top....are your tyres in good shape?
I am a grumpy get..as I like the idea of bikes that work..not that are customised, flawed and work poorly in the pursuit of "something different"

Re: Nc30 rear wheel convertion
5.5 inch wheels won't fit, the dymag for the rvf/vfr is a 5.25 inch and thats as big wide as you can go without any issues

Re: Nc30 rear wheel convertion
If you decide to go down the Rick Oliver hub conversion route (which I can highly recommend - superb quality) I have a spare Vfr750 rear wheel which I would sell for £70 delivered. Cheers Paul.
Need any used Nc30 parts? Want to fit a Ducati front end to your Nc30? If so give me a shout.

Re: Nc30 rear wheel convertion
You could go down the Ducati rear wheel route as I did a long time ago with my NC30

But it was difficult to source the modified wheel and then it was offset to oneside.
