I have a set of NC29's which i have taken out.... if ou have the paperwork saying it is restricted then don't bother restricting it however if not you need the paperwork of you insurance is void.

I would however, as the parents don't know they are out I would like to keep them if something happens.... However, even if you did have these restrictors you wouldnt have the paperwork which is the thing you need overall. Thats why they can charge ridiculous prices as it is a legal requirement you pay for the paperwork aswell.

Hope this helps

it is not a legal requirement to ghave the FI international paperworl

that is a blag.

You need to prove the restrictors are fitted and a receipt from a garage to say they are in is good enough.

The FI internation stuff is a money making scheme...

ill fit them and put it on a dyno for £30 and show insurance people the printout showing 33bhp, they would take that right?

If not, half of them when you insure it online dont ask to see anything, so so long as it was restricted incase i crash it or somthing then i should be ok?

as already mentioned F1 International can wipe their arse with that certificate. you do not need it.
+ i do not advise you remove the washers before your time is up. you do and get caught.. tough titty!

a recite maybe.. but i'd stick to a dyno print out.

when i was in 33bhp time. no insurance co asked me for it! some do, some insist on the F1 bog roll, some will accept a copy of the dyno print out. as with anything, each company have their own way of dealing with it.
