ok my sp1 runs without the quite gears very well and i removed them on the nc30 today though it seem the the nc quite cog takes more area on the driven gear than the sp1s. So is there anyone who had done this and had problems with it.
thanks mart,

I know a few people that run their bikes without the quietning gears, they sound a bit more like a bag of spanners at idle but no problems i've heard so far.

Haha, if Mr H would have intended it to sound like that they wouldn't have put the quietners in there to begin with

I went to look at an MC22 (CBR250rr) and that had the gears took out of it, my first question was 'Whats wrong with the engine :P'

It's only really at idle you can here it anyway. Might get a pony or two also ^_^
