nc 30 front end

hi all

working on my bro's bike this weekend, going to pull the front forks out to reseal and oil, this there any point in different settings from standard eg pre-load, fork protrusion, different fork oil 10w maybe, i know it will depend on the riding style but 5w oil seems very thin to me

any advice would be greatful

the nc30 came with 2 types of forks, an early type and a later type.
the later type has more adjustment. TBH if you are only in the market for an oil change and not a full fork internals upgrage a thicker oil and a change in the air gap may be in order for a heavier rider. Grahame France is the bucko for this advice
