Full exhaust system

Post by dar5150 » Wed Jul 08, 2009 2:53 pm

Hi, Had the RVF totally apart and now its time to put it all back together. Theirs a Ganader full exhaust system on it. Its all held together with springs like other systems. Do you need to use a sealing compound or something when the exhaust system goes back together? All joints fit well together alright. Just seems like there should be some sort of gasket between all those joints. Cheers

I have sprung system on my 30 and haven't put any 'gunk' on those joints, as long as they're not blowing, it should be fine.

Hi, a thin smear of silicone sealant will prob help seal the joins.
Cheers
