Re: 18" tyre choice
Can you price me up 110/70-17 front and 140/60-18 rear in Pirelli, Michelin or Metzeler? I hate Bridgestones

Conventional wisdom says to know your limits. To know your limits you need to find them first. Finding your limits generally involves getting in over your head and hoping you live long enough to benefit from the experience. That's the fun part.

Re: 18" tyre choice
I think 18" race tyres might be a virtual impossibility
For F400, rules state any treaded road tyre. Preference is for Pirelli Sport Demons.
Having had a look around, Metzeler and Michelin don't make sports biased tyres in 110/70-17 or 140/60-18 any more so I'm stuck between the Pirelli Demons and the BT090s (yuk!!!!)
