Cool man thanks for the vids, sounds very nice . I would like to know what the gains was with the 8% larger air box :scare: as I would like to see if its worth getting one. IMHO I don't think its going to make a noticeable difference and for the dosh it better show something :ugeek:. You didn't have a run with the standard box did you? What about the standard air filter, does it get chucked or can you keep it in?

Unfortunately i didnt benchmark both airboxes, I could do this at the same time when/if me and RO get together and bench both the standard and Ignitek CDi's, as Im sure there's a lot of us who would be interested in seeing the difference between the two units. Regarding the Airbox's, IMO i don't think there would be an aweful lot in it between the Tyga and the standard airbox. But only a back2back dyno session will be able to tell us.

Either really. I use the filter, f**k running an open airbox lol.
The Tyga airbox is the exact same as the OEM, except it's visibly bigger and dressed in carbon (it doesn't come with a sub airfilter housing so its probably best to chop the housing off the OEM and fix it in place to avoid crud getting sucked into the carbs)

Cool, think the HRC/Standard CDI's has been done and it actually drops hp if I can recall but don't quote me on that :scare: I have to say that I run one and my ass Dyno tells me that it likes the HRC one better especially at full tap cause then she pulls like a train

I forgot about this, another Dyno session has been done in which the standard and Tyga airboxes were swapped over (along with different Ignition maps which proved to be the exactly the same), The Tyga box was slightly better, it was 0.7bhp higher (peak hp) and a little better torque in the top end part of the rpm's. Graphs are available but they look too similar to decipher the difference.

This was done on a standard bike.
