@ Superlite...sry for making this thread ridiculous... what is going on with the NC21 bracket anyways and did we decide if the drilling was for airflow reasons or for lightness?

lightness i guess,as i have heard of some oz guys using no brackets or standard shaped carbon ones with the same performance.

You can make this fairly easily from the standard bracket:

By cutting around the black lines here;

Still holds everything aligned well.

I am liking that Jon - thanks.

What did you do to those boots? Are they just cut down or have you made a shroud as the HRC ones?

They are cut down standard, i was running a restrictor in the MAJ to compensate for not having the HRC flap over it.

Now have some RVF carbies although i can't find a HRC kit for them and am going to run an airbox with ramair, will post some detailswhen/if I get it sorted.

the holes in the nc30 hrc carb bracket were for air flow, you allso had to remove the ribing between the intakes, this removes any obstructions in the bracket so air can be pulled in from all sides and down through the hrc vell stacks.
dosent jap4performance sell the 35 hrc carb kit? i got mine about 4 years ago through devin at mugen tuning japan, im not sure if he is still about though, it came strait from japan but even then he was strugaling to get them from honda as they were only produced in limited numbers, i was just lucky with mine as someone cancled an order. to be honest its only the needles and the emulsion tubes you need, you can replace the long vell stacks with standard short ones from any breakers yard, and main jets are redily avalible from any honda dealer, the slide springs arent realy a big deal just drill the slide hole which most people do anyway, im sure you could modify a standard emulsion tube, so the main thing would be the needles realy, and im sure rick could help out there. would be a lot cheeper too.

You could just shorten the existing ones, take ~1/4 to ~1/3 off them.
