In fairness it depends how lucky you are with the front end, I got mine for less than £300 for forks, wheel, discs, axle, mudguard brackets and the calipers.
Calipers were the. Stripped, cleaned and new seals put in along with a new set of EBC HH pads.... Really wasn't expecting the pads to cast as much as they did lol
Hopefully finish it for the end of the summer lol

I did this conversion on my KR1.
I used ZXR400L yokes, wheel and discs, with GSR600/750 calipers and master cylinder.
The forks were sent to Mick Gardner which he he revalved, but the springs are the same.
Prior to that, I had the ZXR400L front end, which felt way too hard and choppy.
The feel of the brakes is great and not too over sensitive, and I was thinking of doing the same on my NC30.
some say that the NC would be over braked, although I don't think theres much difference in weight between the NC and the 636.
