what voltage is your genny pushing out? check the three yellow wires at the block connector on the left hand side of the bike. this should tell you if its working ok....

@ Mr Bojo - if the reg rec died, there is usually a reason for it...

I have replaced 1 genny and 3 reg recs in the years I have had my NC30s...

If you want to make sure this is all spot on you need to check the plug that goes into the reg rec - is it nice and white, no burning in there? Check the "middle" plug, by your right knee - this is also likely to be showing burned connectors and frazzling... If these 2 connectors are minty fresh...I'll be very impressed.

You should perform the resistance check on the genny and then a charging check on it too.

Do the work needed right first time and then you are rocking...do half a job at each stage and CRM will win the bet...
