As long as it goes in as a liquid not a putty, should be ok. Just you don't need air bubbles.

Well its a 2 part mix thats like a toothpaste consistency. Will that do?

true.

Will have a crack once my stand arrives. Got my mod 2 tomorrow so need to get that out of the way first too!
