Why is this rubber so important ?

I have checked Lings and David Silver Spares and neither stock this part online so where can I get one ? :(

David silver spares don't have a full list as they only list 'stock' items, they will order in anything else.

Put in the part number or phone them up.

Where are the rest of your carbs??? That little rubber flap restrict the air flow to allow the correct amount of air get to the bike. It's a well documented fact that runing without that little rubber flap will cause all sorts of running issues.

Try and source one from e-Bay or ABRmoto, Graeme France (FranceandLiAsiaTrading), Rick Oliver or even a wanted post in the For Sale section.
Ducati 916, not worth a carrott

Getting the flap and snorkle may no solve your problems, like i said my rvf runs without them but has been setup like that. Was the bike runnng when you brought it? just seems strange that its been removed if the guy before you had been using it as a trackbike but then again he may have been having the same problems as you and couldnt work it out so sold it on.

Sure it's actually a track bike and not just been used on track? I mean my wifes NC35 has been on track (and crashed twice too *ahem*) but is very much a road bike.

Trouble with such stonking handling little bikes is that they are *so* much fun to take on track that you're getting lucky now to find one that hasn't seen at least one trackday.

Not that I would worry about it, condition is everything and TBH personally I'd prefer a pampered track toy to a superficially shiny bike, reason being is the owner of the track toy will have worried about everything being mechanically sound, the shiny bike owner just worries about it looking good...

I have just put a factory pro jet kit in mt NC30. It is not running right yet, to rich I think according to the info on the Factory Pro website. Woundering if I shrould have stayed with the stock set up.

Has anyone used the Factory Pro Kit? What jet size and needle settings did you use? Did they improve performance?
