In that case, check the age of the tires and the condition of the sprocket and chain. It also wouldn't hurt to check the brake pads, and the forks too for condition of the seals.
I really think once you get it on the road it won't bog.
First problem haha

Re: First problem haha
You may want to check that the fuel tank is venting correctly. Start it up, then when it starts bogging open the filler cap. If it clears up you've found the issue.

Have receipts for major service last year, valve shims, fork seals and oil, oil and filter, but not air filter for some reason, tyres have about had it so won't be pushing it.
Fuel breather is clear, have checked that already, think need to ride it if I can get two minutes, clearing out garage so I have space to tinker

Thanks vfrman
Took it for test ride an revved fine all the way to red line, so you've saved me a lot of head scratching!
Still a bit of a flat area in the midrange but I can live with that.
Now need some new wrists though, forgot just how cramped the bike is, need to find some original rear sets as the ones on the bike are ridiculously high and my heels are only about 3 inches from my arse.

I'll send you my consultation bill.
Enjoy the bike.
Sometimes that flat spot can be smoothed out a little by placing another .05mm washer under the needles.
