I just picked up a used, but tested, 07 NX6R rectifier for $29 USD to my door. Its gotta be better than the crap one that was on the bike.

Re: nc30 rectifier
According to the FH type number printed on this unit it is a mosfet regulator. Can this be used: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Voltage-Regulat ... 0568621241

If it is MOSFET, then yes...but it is a Chinese copy. No thanks for me.

Re: nc30 rectifier
How do you know that it's a copy? Often they are simply continuing production on the same production line after the original manufacturer's (who outsourced the production to china) order is fulfilled.vfrman wrote:If it is MOSFET, then yes...but it is a Chinese copy. No thanks for me.

Because the ad says not OEM...
If you get it let us know how it turns out. I could be wrong...wouldn't be the first time.

Re: nc30 rectifier
I'm trying to find out if it's possible to determine if it's a diode or a mosfet regulator by measuring it. If it is then I'll buy one as a reserve r/r.vfrman wrote:Because the ad says not OEM...

Re: nc30 rectifier
No problem. I went with a Kawi RR because they were cheaper on ebay than the Honda units. That thing gives rock solid 14v all through the rev range.
