What i don´t understand is: Here on greybike you can find a lot of people who spent a lot of money in their bikes and two weeks later you will find them in the for sale section. Tell me why people do that.

So basically carbs are a better option , and yes i calculated the cost ,and ur right it would be expensive , so does anyone have any upgrades in mind that would improve on what the nc30 already has ? like handling ,power ,fuel efficiency ,speed etc. i also read that an nc30 is designed to 59 hp so is that all it can produce ? :shock: even the nc30 track bikes ? what do they put out ?

@ Michael - I do not understand why people put the money and effort into the bike and then sell it. I have had mine for nearly 10 years and over that time have spent thousands (nothing compared to your spend). I cannot sell it.

I did not count the money i spent on my bikes, i have fun with it and that is enough.

Sometimes its a matter of having too, ive done it. I didn't want to but it was just unfortunate timing and somethings are more important than lumps of metal and plastic, these days i try to keep a little back so the same doesn't happen again.

Many people have unrealistic expectations. They start a project thinking that their bike will become like a new cbr600rr or something, spend a lot of time and money and are left disappointed so the bike ends up forsale.

If you have the knowledge and ability and money to do or pay somebody to do mods and know what you will get at the end then i think you are less likely to be disappointed and keep the bike.. these seem to be people that enjoy the engineering challenege and crafting? rather than to "improve" the bike.

As for OP. to get most power upgrades pistons and rods / camshafts carbs are all changed. The Dyno graph above uses 450cc engine for example.

If money is no object then lots of good stuff can be done but

"this seems like not much money" is the easiest way to end up with a half done broken project with no interest and it being sold

It is stupid to think when i´m tuning my bike (small greybike) that i will have a bike with the performance of a 600. Before i spend my money into a project i find out what i will get. And i know how much money i have to put in the bike. Often i want a rc45. I know it is to expensive.
