Re: Throttle Position Sensor
Hi, the sensor is from a Vauxhall Vectra I think, £4:99 - new item from EBAY. I tested it functionally as a loose item before going to the trouble of mounting it.
I have always mounted the throttle cables with the carbs lifted up from the ports, and the TPS bracket can be fitted with the carbs in their fully seated position - yes I checked, because I am that sad and thorough!
I would have thought that virtually any type of TPS would be OK, but if in doubt, just wire it up and test it as a loose part while monitoring the Ignitech desktop display.
Regards,
Dave.

Ive got a map for the RVF CDI if you wanted to use that as a base, its had hours and hours of dyno time to develop it.
