Re: what brakes fit nc35?
I have been using a stock M/C (14mm) for the past 2 years with no problems, however i tracked down a 5/8 (16mm) cbr900 M/C for my SP1 calipers im yet to test it however it will be stronger for braking but give less feel like the 14mm.racingt wrote:Good question! i found through research that i wanted an exact same "LOOKING" master cylinder as the stock NC30 one, and found that a CBR900 1990model and the RC30 are the only ones that do and that offer a 5/8" its hard to locate one i took me over 2 months until VFRman steve came to my rescue
14mm is stock on the NC30

There's some nice 5/8 (16mm) gold brembo master cylinders from 996's that I've been looking at, nice and good and brembo to boot! Also seem to be a little cheaper than searching for sp1 master cylinders, I think because there's more of them about.

It was all about trying to keep the stock look, but there are loads of 5/8 master cylinders that will fit the handles of the NCjuggernaut wrote:There's some nice 5/8 (16mm) gold brembo master cylinders from 996's that I've been looking at, nice and good and brembo to boot! Re: what brakes fit nc35?
just noticed the brembos from the ducati 996 916 748 models all have similar mounting points to the nissin calipers? is this right since i am willing to spend out to upgrade to the brembos but im not going to spend out just to find out they dont fit the nc35???

The CBR900 (fireblade) wasn't made until 1992.porndoguk wrote:5/8 stock on the SP1 and SOME CBR900s, and on the RC30.juggernaut wrote:So is 16mm the stock size Rick?
