Theres also a drain bolt at the bottom of the fork leg which you can use to drain most of the oil - bounce the forks a few times to get as much oil as you can out. You can then remove the caps and fill with the prescribed amount. I guess you could fill from the bottom too if you could make / adapt a suitable pressure filling system but it may be more effort that its worth.
