I bought the Bike from Team-Moto Moorooka in Queensland and got it shipped to Team-Moto Blacktown, and I got warranty while I was at it. I've heard good things about Team-Moto from a couple friends so that's why I bought it from them, do you have any experience dealing with them? So far, they've been nice and helpful to me, but they shouldn't have returned a bike that wasn't fixed yet, it shows they didn't really test it.
Yeah I saw Sumoto, totally disregarded them for the obscene price they quoted me for a '94 RVF, about 11000-12000 AUD when i called them up.

I haven't dealt with Team Moto but I believe my bike was imported by them. It was imported in 09 and I'm the third Australian owner and about 8 months ago, I hit a problem with the clutch. It ended up being an incorrectly fitted clutch nut. The mechanic who replaced the clutch plates (they are still almost brand new) cross-threaded the nut when he used a rattle gun to put it on. It ended up stripping the input shaft and in the end I had to pull the whole engine apart to fix the problem.

I'm not saying Team Moto did the work, I'm just leaning that way due to the condition of the clutch plates. Ever since that episode, I steer clear of all mechanics unless I know them personally or I can observe the work as it's being done (I simply don't trust their workmanship). Otherwise I do all the work myself, and I encourage everyone else to do this to the best of their ability.
