Re: nc30 throttle responce
Dude - Gauteng is high enough from sea level that you need to lean the bike up. Putting washers on the needles and so on will cause it to be too rich. There is not as much oxygen at 5000 ft or however high you are.
It desperately needs a dyno run.

Re: nc30 throttle responce
Ok thanks. I took the washers out, waiting for honda to get my carb insulator rubbers and the of the the bike shop, They will clean with ultra sonic bath, rejet the carb with 110 alround, sync and dyno. Hope fully that will sort it out.
The machanic also said that the vaccumes tubs of the carbs can be vibrating, Why would it do that and how do you fix it, if it does do it?

Re: nc30 throttle responce
Just to answer your question about revving while stationary. It isn't under load when it's stationary - try it on any bike/ car and it will do the same - even something with next to no power. Once the vehicle is moving it
is then under load and you need power to accelerate and rev fast, he need for power increasing as you go faster.

Re: nc30 throttle responce
PS??
Well thats what the screen showed when the dyno was running, didnt get a print out but the last dyno was done right infront of me, so I belief it... The bike rocks??? would love to buy some fairing from the guys selling on the form but the shipping cost are more that the fairing it self. Racebox in Edenvale Johannesburg will do fairing that almost looks a cross between tyga and nc35 for R5000, round €900. including respry. will have to ave up a bit but will post a pic when its done.
