No need to bow out my good man, thankyou for coming up with that idea. It will help if someone else has a problem like this and finds your post as theres not much regarding the Nc29 fuel tank issues yet.

Ahh, just dissapointed it didnt work for you, the symptoms you give were identical to what I had and the follow up from tanuki mentioning the fuel flow problem and pressure was what I was thinking at the time, also because you mentioned a slight lift at the cap I was sure it was the catches, no problems though..
