I think Rick's are standard shape made from ally, 50% lighter than stock, but they cannot support the weight of a pillion rider. I've held one and they are ridiculously light in comparison.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

Take it to an ally welder DM. Ride it there, show them the problem and go have a brew somewhere. When you get back you're problems will be over. A bit more elegant than meccano and that bike deserves it mate.
Are the specs on this bike in you're DM's bikes posts Tony?
Not a bad set of wheels there mate (understatement of the year award to me I think).

Cheers Fella, I think i did list the specs when i first got it but its going through a race to road bike conversion at the minute so is changing all the time, Currently awaiting a KOSO dash to land on my doorstep and give me something to do today :grin:
Keep an eye on my AM-PM endurance thread and i'll list the full spec as soon as its near complete

Near complete aye. Since when did any of us have bikes that were 100% complete? She's a thing of beauty mate and only getting better.
