Cheers for that as always you are spot on!!!. I have just fitted the new 5 pin R6 R/R and WOW what a difference I never noticed before but my instrument lights are now so much brighter as well as my low and high beam. It is a pleasure to ride at night now. It is totally amazing the difference this new Regulator/ Rectifier has made. This swap is a must for people with a honda NC24!!.
Before I had trouble, not all the time but sometimes in starting her up but now a light press on the button and away she goes.............................. it is INCREDIBLE honest!!!................................ I still cant get over the difference!!!
Also the yamaha R/R just bolts into the same space as the Honda R/R with just a little mod and it only took 15 minutes to fit.
Your wiring diagram was bang on the money so thanks so much for all your help! Cheers!.

Re: NC24 R/R SWAP FOR YAMAHA R6 R/R
No worries.
If you look you'll see that the back of the R6 reg is recessed.
You can get a thermal pad for these / or heatsink compound.
I applied this first before bolting it to the frame to aid heat dissipation.
