Re: nc24 drinking fuel
Yes you have posted this part number, apologies for going on, just keep thinking I'm missing something.
I think what I'm asking is my fuel tap setup ok and
I know the fuel hose looks like it's being stretched, but wouldn't this mean it's even tighter and shouldn't leak,
I'm just a bit confused why it leaks when the tank is fitted.
I'll try and work this out and post the result
Cheers

Re: nc24 drinking fuel
How high are you able to lift the tank without undoing the fuel pipe, on mine it's only possible to lift it high enough to relatively easily get my hand under to release the supply pipe. I suspect that if it could be raised any higher then there's a distinct risk that it may kink when correctly seated. From memory I say that my supply pipe is no longer than 5". Don't quote me though as I keep telling the missus it's really 9"

Haha Ian!
If you have the wrong pipe, it could be flexing, warping not seating properly when you put the tank on, which seems to be the case..
cant you get a torch in there and see where it's comming from?
Remove the rear sides and look up
