HDI lights

I think im with you but a wiring diagram would help. Could you not find one a bit closer to home, you paid more for postage than the item itself.

Why does it plug into the original light connector as well as have supplies straight from the battery, just for the switchwire ?

Have you checked your battery?

Maybe the ballast itself needs to be grounded?

It sounds like you need to take a step back and wire the thing up properly according to the honda wiring diagram (in the haynes manual

) instead of guessing where things connect (no offence). I notice that there are also relays included in the kit yet no mention in your thread of using it so far.

HK is close to home Painless! Oz is pretty much classified as an Asian country these days and the majority of australian ebay goods come from nearby Asian countries.

Nope, the postage to Oz was still more than the cost of the product! A telling sign perhaps...

I just noticed in the link I posted above that the HID kits were duds according to the reviewer!

from the relay there is positive and negative i took that straight to the batery....then there are fool proof plugs that connect the realay ballast and ignigter together...then there is a 3 pin h4 male plug which plugs into the original h4 female soket that is done i flick my key on lights come on almost at full brightness ballast buzzes for about 5 seconds and lights dim off and stay off.....i connected it to permanent active and the same thing happened i connected on instead of bothe kits same thing happened??

Have a read through this thread it may help, also you do get a high pitched sound while they are warming up, similar to a photo flashgun. viewtopic.php?f=28&t=13705
