Re: nc 30 lower rad
Chris is on here.
That is a poor plan IMO. I looked at it and although it looks like it will do the job it is tiny compared to the standard rad and so you'll have less water in the system and a hotter bike.. So, only a very temporary fix and you'll be screwed in the summer when the bike runs hot anyway.
If you are stuck, get hold of Geoff33 or Riley and they'll probably have a working second hand rad you can have...
Or, send your rad to be recored -I did and it cost me £160
You get this...

oh yeah man..night and day. SO much better and the main difference being that when you get a bit of flow on it the temp drops away like it should.royster81 wrote:i am so friggin' tempted to do this man, did you notice any gains ? ie the beast running cooler ?CMSMJ1 wrote:Or, send your rad to be recored -I did and it cost me £160

Re: nc 30 lower rad
I had mine done at Northern Radiators in Bradford. Pretty much any radiator place hsould be able to do it for you adn as long as your tanks are fine then you have no worries.
It is pricy...but then again if it needs sorting then it needs sorting. I'd rather spend the money making my bike work that sticking a pointy tail and an iridium screen on it....

Re: nc 30 lower rad
I have one on a bike in the garage. It looks half decent but i'll drag the bike out and have a proper look over the weekend. If it's ok then it will be £45 + postage.
I might have a look in to getting some re-cored, there must be some call for them.
