can anyone help me with the correct valve clearance for an nc24, does the nc24 have shims??? and does anyone have a guide on doing the timing on the nc24??

The timing like on all the NC13e engines is fixed, you cannot adjust it. Unless the engines been in pieces it shouldn't need messing with.
The valves use the traditional lock-nut and screw adjuster so you dont' need to buy shims.
Read the valve clearance guide that is a sticky topic (first post) in this forum and you'll see a page i added about NC24 valve clearnaces
