Re: carb tools
theirs a special screwdriver that makes balancing them alot easier I believe but not heard of one for the carbs themselfs, and didnt use one when I did mine
the balancing tool is a right angled screwdriver that turns the head when you twist the grip, make sence? also a colourtune or carb set of balancing guages will be needed

Re: carb tools
If you're removing them, then a longish philips head screwdriver is needed, no more. Don't forget to remove the idle adjustor, easy mistake when you go to rip the carbs off...
You should be able to see the carb rubber screws with a torch while the bike is all together, it should give you an idea of what size screwdriver you'll need.
I wouldn't suggest balancing the carbs while they're on the bike, there's easier ways and you'll get damn close results for a quarter of the time spent.

Re: carb tools
A sledge hammer or large pair of boots for when you come to re-fitting the carbs

Re: carb tools
a paperthin smear of red rubber grease around the rubbers helps the carbs to slide on easysuperlite wrote:A sledge hammer or large pair of boots for when you come to re-fitting the carbs
