Hi, my cbr400 nc23 keeps flooding i think.
I have changed all the ht leads.
It suffers even when the bike is realy warm or hot.
I can be using it, stop it, and it is needing a bump start to start the thing.
I always seem to have this problem even when i use redex or clean the carbs.
grrrrr
why cant it be reliable!
any advice wud b ace

cheers for the info people.
I had used rad weld so thought id better change the coolant.
on doing so i found.............
.........
the rad weld had ran into the expansion bottle, or down the tube to it, rather.
here it had gone solid.
so when the coolant expanded- it dribbled out of filler cap,ran onto engine and donw the side of the spark plug.
the chocke puller cable was also a bit naff and i think keeping the choke on a tad. so greased that also!
I thne filled it with water again, and added some salt to stop it rusting in case it gets cold. its allot cheaper than coolant!

Are you sure salt is a good idea?
I would guess that its cheaper than coolant but might not be the best for your engine.

Too many bikes, so little time!
