NC30 Drain Pipe Location

Post by Doomah » Sun Mar 15, 2009 7:05 pm

Anyone able to describe or illustrate where the drain pipes with the three-way connector go on the NC30? Every one I've seen they've just been hanging loosely in the bike, connected to nothing. I can't find anything descriptive enough in the Haynes manual and couldn't find anything with the search tool on this forum (or on Google!), so any help would be much appreciated.

Ta very much!

pritty sure the tank breather goes into a three way connector dosnt it? one of the other two pipes goes down to the bottom of the bike and the other goes into the left side of the engine near the front sprocket cover

Is that it? I thought the coolant bottle's overflow drain might be a part of it. I can't understand why you'd need three pipes just for the tank breather. Oh I don't know, i'll just shove them on willy-nilly and hope for the best. In the meantime perhaps someone could shed some more light on this?

Thanks for the timely reply Spike!

The 3 way is from the tank breather and the airbox drain. Both join into the T piece on the left side and then down to the front sprocket area.

I run neither pipes and it makes no odds to my moto..

Fortunately I figured it out just ten minutes ago. The pipe on the airbox drain is very tight but everything now seems to be located alright. Thanks CMSMJ1 for verifying that it's correct!
