carburettor diaphragms, NC24

Post by SuNk » Thu Jan 29, 2009 4:44 pm

Hi guys - hope you can help.

I am rebuilding a NC24, and I just found out that two of the carburettor diaphragms were ruptered, and the other two look and feel like they will break soon.

Does anyone know where I can get replacements?

Hi there, it is a discontinued part and only comes as a complete assembly with the slider, there is no part number listed for just the diaphram.

The Part# will vary depending on the set of carbs but will be either of:

16111-ml0-721
16111-ml0-724

The 724 revision is the safest bet as only very early 24's came with the 721 variant.

David Silver Spares has 1 in stock at £29.00 Here

CMSNL (Classic Motorcycle Spares Netherlands) Have 1 in stock at 115 euro!! Here

The cheapest option would be a 2nd hand set of carbs off ebay etc.

Hope that helps :D

Thank you for the replies.

I found out that http://www.nrp-carbs.co.uk" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; can make new diaphragms by copying the originals, so I will probably go by that route.
