Re: NC30 FR Wheel Bearings
Might need to deburr the seat and flanges in the wheel - get them properly pressed. I'm not near my bike so cannot take a look but surely, it cannot be this hard :)

Re: NC30 FR Wheel Bearings
Hi everyone - update here,
After inspecting the seats (looked okay!) I have re-tried the process with a new set of bearings and went with the left side first. I was pretty conservative with hammering it in and got it in far enough so the dust seal looked pretty flush.
I dropped in the spacer then aligned it with the spindle just to make sure is all good.
Then I knocked in the right side and for the first time the tube sat below the bearing seat!
The inner spacer was then a bit loose inside so I went back to the left side and gave it another smack and now everything is in perfectly!
Im really not sure If it was my process as I did the same things, but these were ‘All Balls’ besrings from Ebay and seemed to be better?
Anyway thanks for all the help and apologies if It was me just being clumsy. I hope that this thread may help someone who finds the same issue.
In summary, the bearing should sit on its seat and scrutinise the bearings and be a bit gentle with the LHS before dropping the spacer in.
