HT coils and piston sequence

Hey could some one please explain to me what the piston sequence is on the nc35 is?

Do cylinders 1 through to 4 all fire at different times or do 1 and 4 fire together and 2 and 3 together for eg?

Do the spark plug leads off the HT coils both spark or are they individual?

Just curious because the colour coding from the ICU to the coils seems opposite to what the Haynes manual says for eg: yellow with blue pin stripe from the ICU to the rear coils goes to cylinder 1 and black with white pin stripe goes to 3 but on my bike its opposite. It seems to be running fine but just curios to know if this is correct.The front coils are the same, also would just like to know how the coils fire in relations to piston timing for knowledge as I enjoy working on my bikes.

You have interpreted the wiring diagram incorrectly. There are only two Ignition coils with dual outputs shared between the cylinder pairs. The black/white wire is battery power that goes to both coils. The blue/yellow and yellow/blue wires are the control signals from the ignition control unit to each ignition coil. The physical position of each wire at each coil has no relationship to the ignition coil output lead or the wiring diagram.

Ok so both leads will spark for cylinder 1 and 3 for eg. Wich means the leads of the rear coil don't matter wich of the two rear cylinders it goes to. Is this correct?

Ok cool thanks good to know. So does that mean both there rear 2 pistons move up and down together. And the front to move up and down together.

No, it's whats called a wasted spark arrangement, so both cylinders get a spark even though only one of them needs it at that point in the 4 stroke cycle.

Yeah the front pair and the back pair move up and down together, its called a 360 degree crank. I think the nc24 and earlier use a 180 degree crank so one would be at the tdc and the other at bdc, that's why they sound different.
