Oil change.

Post by Foxy400 » Tue Apr 12, 2016 5:39 pm

Pretty simple question..is it best to change the oil and filter with the bike on the sidestand or on the Abba? The NC35 leans over on it's short sidestand more than any other bike I've owned and I'm wondering if Mr Honda expects you to buy a paddock stand, or is he happy for you to do it at a 45 degree angle? Thanks.

Well, the drain plug and oil filter are both on the sidestand side of the motor. You can drain it that way if you want.

I've always done mine on the side stand and all of the old oil comes out without drama. I just make sure it's nice and warm before hand.
