NC24 Front Fork Service - advice welcomed

My NC24 is passing oil via the seals so time to change the seals.
I've done a bit of forum browsing and reviewed the NC30 fork seal video on youtube. Now I understand that the NC24 forks are different. But i assume that once the sliders are released from the tubes the removal of the dust and inner seal is a similar process.
There appears to be a special 1/2inx24mm hex bit needed to disassemble each leg on the NC24.
Is this right?
If so any clues as to where I might source one of these beasts?

Sorry,I can't help but it seems unlikely you'd need a special tool to pull the forks apart, I've never heard of this. I could be worng but hopefully someone who has done the job can help..

they come apart easy, dont need any special tools

Did need to create a tool to hold the head on the damper rod on the left side to enable me to undo the bottom 8mm allen bolt. I fashioned this out of a 24mm headed bolt, got this from my local hardware store. I ground down the threaded end on the bolt to take a 14mm socket and used a long reach 1/2 inch extension to hold it. Took about 10 minutes. Worked really well and cost 75p. Used Delboys video on youtube to work through the process. Just trying to work out which way up the little collar goes on the damper. it fell out of the bottom of the fork leg as I tipped the oil out. Currently browsing pic on this forum and others to work this out. Any feedback welcomed, it has a lipped end. Pics on stripped forks show this lip up (and this looks right) but
