For only a little more money (at least here in NA), one can get one of these stands based on the BURSIG stand. The only issue is that there are no adapters for it. Never fear, I have done all the leg work and made adapters for the VFR400 and researched places to purchase these stands.

1) UK purchase place (they might even have adapters for the vfr400) - www.1jac.com
2) NA (free shipping in north america) -

3) China (looks like the origin of my model @ differing prices depending on qty, 75 for 50, 200 for 1) -
http://www.sumomoto.com/motorcycle-stand/2092.htm
4) Ebay under search term (Central stand paddock lift) - I got mine here for 150 USD, free shipping
These adapters are semi complete, the bottom one (adapter 2) is made about 6mm longer so you can cut that based on your preference and the top adapter (adapter 1) is very tight into the aluminium hole and is also tight for the hex bolt head. Enlarge and/or sand these as you will. Adapter 3 is the one that goes into the main plate and is made for ZX-10R originally.
Additional hardware required are two 10mm socket headed cap screws.
I have included solidworks files and could export then to whatever format once desires.
