Hi guys , got my RVF about 2 months ago and have been having a problem since the start .
Initially my jets were dyno-jetted ( according to my mech ) . Well the problem is , i can't accelerate on gear 6 . It's like a flat spot . If i'm on 150km/h and up to 6th , the bike has no power and the speed will eventually drop to 90km/h and then it will accelerate on 6th gear .
I got the mech to swap back the original jets and still face this problem . My top speed is only 150 km/h. Bike is all stock only got the tyga headers and yoshimura end can.
Currently with the original jets , my fuel only lasts a total of 160 km inclusive of reserve....
So as a test , i hit 15k's on gear one and got a loud backfire/pop.
I'm in singapore and it's superr expensive to get nc35's checked as the mech's here tend to jack up all the prices as it is a 'old' bike . Also , there's no place to actually open up the bike myself as everything here costs a bomb even a simple paddock stand ...
If anyone could advise on what's wrong or anyone who faced this problem and the solution !
Thanks in advance !
NC 35 bad jerking issue.

Re: NC 35 bad jerking issue.
Hmm.
Seems to early for the 180km/h limiter to kick in if its still working.
Most likely fuel vaccumn hose collapsing or vacumn in tank caused by blocked breather (on the 35 i believe it vents through the cap so less lieky but worth a check)
first replace the vaccum hose with a new one. Make sure tap diaphram is in good working order too.
