I cant see what airbox you are trying to use as there are no picture.

The NC21/NC24 aircleaner is interchangable though.

If your carbs are fouling the coils then there is obviosuly something wrong with the fitting of the carbs, which will probably also stop the airbox fitting.

did you solve the issue with the coils yet? fix the airleak symptions? you shouldnt ride it with possible airleak, espeically on a high revving v4 you risk burning the valves out.

The coils fit absolutely fine without fouling the carbs; I checked that they're fitted properly. It's not easy to get them on is it ^_^
I had to heat the rubbers up and apply a very light film of rubber grease to convince the buggers to go in...

It appears that I have an NC35 airbox, who knows why.
I'll buy an NC21 airbox and that should go on without any problems!
