Just bought a NC30 after having fzr's, bike rides well apart from a horrific judder from the front brakes under braking but I'm hoping thats just the discs.
My main issue at the minute is the indicators aren't working (all standard, no cheap mini ones fitted). Is there an obvious fault with these without pulling it all apart.
Thanks

Re: Excessive brake judder on NC30's?????
no.
They have some of the best brakes going.
So, something not right with yours...

This is correct.
25 years old and properly maintained they will still stop the bike pretty awesome.
Any kind of juddering mean somethings wrong.

Re: Indicators inop. No indicators working at all???
No known common faults with indicators.
Id start by checking all the fuses, then make sure the bulbs are ok.. very odd to have 4 dead ones though.
If you take the left hand side panels off you can disconnect the swtich-gear and bridge the indictor wires and see if you get indicators on.
If you get indicators on you have a problem wtih the switch, strip it and inspect for damage / corrosion and clean.
If nothing and youvebridge the proper wires then try checking the indicator relay is ok

Re: Indicators not working / Front brake judder.
I had this problem a few years ago and it turned out to be a warped disc

Re: Indicators not working / Front brake judder.
Thanks for the reply's.
I've tightened the head stock bearings and it's cured a bit of the judder but there's still a tiny bit.
I haven't looked at the indicators yet but the relay is just clicking so hopefully just that.
Cheers
