Hi, I have an NC21 400z, when mending some holes in the tank I noticed that the green wire from the rectifier is not connected to anything. It has a circular end as it is screwed to something? Is it a feed from the battery or where should it attach to? I can add a photo if easier to explain.
Thanks
Dave

Re: VFR400z - green wire off rectifier?
it didnt have a green wire on the original rectifiter.
it sounds like an earth wire if it has a ring tab on it, if itsnot attached and not causing any issue i wouldnt worry about it.

Yea it's a different rectifier. Green is earth and would normally connect to the black wire in the VFR loom, but as Neosophist said, if it's not causing problems don't stress. Just check your charging voltage to be sure though.
