Cam install

Post by Fields » Sun Jul 20, 2014 5:22 pm

Hi guys, long story short, how do you time cams if the cams were never marked prior to dis-assembly? They are race cams too, with to documentation with them so can they even be installed the to same method in manual?

 They should have index marks in the ends of them as a starting point. Assuming they do, relatively easy to time them in using the marks.

A bit too short of a story there.

What bike? what cams? Any pictures?

Race cams with documentation sounds very suspicious.

Stock reground cams perhaps?

Setting them will the the same as the manual though, never seen any cams without indexing marks before.

If they really do have no indexing marks youll have ot measure than set them yourself.
