hi, I have some crash bungs that I bought for my cbr600 and never fitted, I was looking to see if they would fit on my nc30 but am not sure where they would go.
I've seen some fitted high up and some lower down.
if anyone can point me in the right direction I would appreciate it.
thanks

Re: NC30 crash bungs placement
The lower mount type are r&g non drill panel type with a bar between bungs the higher mounted type use the top mounts on front head req the mid panel cut and generally snap the engine mount in a crash which tbh is a bigger headache than a damaged panel .

Mine were the R&G "drill type" as they are know as you have to drill a hole in your fairings to fit them.

Thankfully I never tested them in anger, so cannot comment on wether they snap the engine mounts in an accident - but if I were to fit some again I would pay the extra and get the "non drill" set with the bar between the two pucks and no holes in the fairings (http://www.rg-racing.com/browseBike/Hon ... Re: NC30 crash bungs placement
Thanks, I should be more specific I guess, I just wondered if anyone had a picture of where they actually fit to, behind the fairings, there seem to be a couple of points that they could mount to, I just want to get the right one, im not bothered about drilling fairings as im using a tatty old set anyways until I get round to repairing the original panels with the movistar scheme
