From reading past posts and googling, it seems I have the same old problem with my NC24. The original collector box has rotted away and is now blowing like a tractor. The rear down pipes have split from the box and the front pipes have partially done the same. It was fine until having a spirited ride home from work!
Just wondering what the best solution is for a replacement nowadays?
I've seen david silver have them in for £262 and are temporarily out of stock.
The worst thing is that the bike is due for MOT on the 10th may and it will never pass with how bad it is.
Slightly worried to say the least!

Re: nc24 collector box
Thats pretty much the only solution. decent second hand ones dont come up very often and when they do they often go for near as much the same price a new one would cost you.
plus if your putting a stock one on you have to take most of the bike apart or drop the engine out the frame to fit it, the aftermarket ones have removable rear pipes to aid fitting.

Re: nc24 collector box
thanks. I'm going to gungum the whole box up just to try get it through mot at the weekend and then replace it. I know gun gum is crap but it should last at least the 4 mile trip to the station i hope. Its running awful with the box the way it is, so definitely want to replace it, even if i manage to scrape it through the test.
Im very interested in the nc24 system drunkn munky. If you want rid let me know as ill gladly purchase it off you.
Whereabouts are you?
Edit: Just noticed you are in Kent mate. Guess it would have to be posted as im in York.
