Jetting Problem

G'Day

Just having problems with my RVF running over 9-10k rmp , took it out for a track day and couldnt get it above 9-10 ish or 160km/h could suggest me some jet siswa or air mixture settings as i am at the end of my knowladge , has Maggoy exhuast ( slip on only ) Air box but to filter , Runs on 98% constantly and at Sea Level normal out side temp is 30℃

Exactly same issue on mine....
standard synchronised carbs and air box, ingnitech CDI, original pipe and end can

i will try with another can, and maybe bigger jet 118/120...

Yer im gunna put some bigger jets on see how i go and leave Air mixture setting as it see how i go

It's because you have no air filter fitted.

You'll need around 160 size main jets if you want to run with no filter, but it still then won't have a very linear power delivery.

A better option would be to reinstall a genuine honda air filter and jet the carbs accordingly to suit your exhaust (112 main jets all round to suit your maggot).
