What's the problem with yours? Are the forks in good condition - a good clean, new oil & bushes, sag set up properly for your weight? Have you tried adjusting them to suit track conditions?
Later type forks, Rick O springs and setup properly are a surprisingly good setup and will also cost the least amount of money.
Should you find you can outride this setup then you can always keep these as a backup set if you sell the bike as you will probably get more money for fancy fork conversion separatly.
But maybe its too much trouble and you dont have space.
Am curious thuogh what the issue with the currecnt forks are, is it for racebike?
