Refilling coolant

Post by britaxcooper » Sat Mar 08, 2014 9:59 am

Morning all,
I'm going to refill my other halfs NC30 with coolant after fitting new rads and hoses.

Is the refilling process the same as described in the Haynes manual? Simply fill it up, run without the cap on until warm, couple of blips on the throttle, allow to cool and refill (then keep an eye on water level)

I find it odd there are no air bleed screws to remove to get any air out of the system?

fill it up, burp it and squeeze some of the hoses to get any trapped air out. you'll see the level reduce in the filler neck when you blip the throttle - this is a good sign that the pump works.

It is as easy as it says
