nc30 clutch modification

Post by NC30Dubz » Mon Oct 14, 2013 2:51 pm

Hi guys, I'm having a bit of an issue with my clutch nut adjuster. It will never stay in the same place and this is the second one I've had on my bike. Is there any sort of mod I can use? Not bothered if I have to change the lever aswell, just getting fed up of having to check the nut everytime I set off. Thanks!

buy a new nut, or lockwire the current one.

Seems a random issue - might well just be fecked.

Yeah, possibly just ruined. I think it's partly to do with the clutch cable, it's got a hard outer cover where it goes into the adjuster and everytime I turn the steering it must be damaging it. I'll give the glue a go and see how long that holds, new nuts are hard to come by. Thanks guys.

New nuts are easy to come by - surely? It will be the same as many other bikes.

Stick a picture up if you can

You'd have thought so! Looking through eBay I'd have to buy the whole clutch assembly. Yeah will stick a pic up in a short while
