NC30 handlebar setup

Post by tigerclaw » Sun Jul 14, 2013 6:16 pm

I have a set of rick oliver alloy handlebars (strangely my one standard NC30 handlebar was hollow and the other was solid), so now I dont have markers etc to set it up and I want to get it correct per the factory.

Clutch side.... distance from:

Handlebar holder to clutch perch,
Clutch perch to switches
Switches to grip

Throttle side... distance from

Handlebar holder to braker perch
Brake perch to cut out switch
Swith to throttle mount

Thanks

Why not set them to where they come to hand/feel best.

Mine are, light switch against rubber grip, switch to clutch lever 6.5mm, clutch lever to bar mounting 10.5mm.

Kill switch against rubber grip, kill switch to brake lever 9.5mm, brake lever mounting against bar mounting.

Cool thanks arsey, I will start with ur settings. I also want to avoid moving them and leaving marks on the bars. I appreciate the effort thanks

Make sure the clutch lever is not set too high.
In spite of a dot on the bar showing the correct mount position I have seen many NCs with scrapes on the speedo housing.
