NC30 Forks

Post by zeke » Sat Jul 06, 2013 6:00 am

Hi Guys, I bought a pair of forks off trademe, minus springs and dampers, supposedly for an NC30. Wanted to use the stanchions as we already have a set of internals and sliders to make up a spare set (for a race bike). The new set have
KY2-x SA2 where the origonals have MR8-x SA1. Brake mounts are different with the Tags on KY2 set being almost same length, so I assume a smaller disc. Overall length 70mm longer! For the complete fork assembly. (Guess they had them well proud of the top triples) Any ideas as to what the donor may have been? I cannot find any reference to KY2 any where. The origonal plan was to cobble our NC30 parts into the new stanchions, but this is looking to be a lost cause. Cheers
